June Youth of the Month: Tavia Mickens

July 2009 Youth of the Month – Tavia Mickens, 8 year old 3rd grade, maintains a B average at Selma Elementary. At the Club she
participated in the Girl Scouts, Stay Ready, and Smart Girls. She likes to dance and sing. Tavia is a member of the Boys & Girls Clubs choir.
One of her favorite things to do in the summer at the Club is going swimming at the Selma pool. She is a member of the choir at her church.
Tavia has two brothers that are members at the Club and her mother is Eva Godwin.
