4th grader, she is on the “Principal List” at Princeton Elementary School. Kara is quiet and she gets along well with others. She helps the younger members with their homework and reading. Smart Girls, Club Choir, Project Learn, Stay Ready, Summer Reading and Listening friends are some of the programs Kara has participated in. Kara ran the 100 yard dash In the North Carolina State Track meet in Charlotte, NC. Her parents are Helen and Kenneth Walden and she has an older brother that also attends the Club. 8 grader, he is on the “Principal List” average at Princeton Middle School. He will be representing Princeton Middle School in the Johnston County spelling bee. Kenan enjoys working on computers; he helps Club members in the Computer Lab and doing Power Hour. At the Club Kenan participates in many of the leadership programs such as Junior Staff, Torch Club, Money Matters, Power Hour, Project Learn and Games Room Helper. He is always willing to help before he plays or socialize at the Club he always asks, “What can I do to help?’ He enjoys reading, playing video games and playing chess. His parents are Helen and Kenneth Walden and he has a younger sister that also attends the Club.
