age 7, 2nd grader maintains a “B” average at Selma Elementary School. At the Club, Mariah is a member of the Girl Scout troop, she participates in Power Hour, and Project Learn programs. She likes playing in the Gamesroom and doing Arts & Crafts projects. She wants to be a teacher when she grows up. Currently she is writing
and illustrating a children’s books and would like to have it published. Her parents are Cliff and Kandy Benton and she has two siblings

 

age 9, 4th grader at Selma Elementary School he has been working very hard to improve his grades. He has really shown great improvement in his behavior and has become a great helper at the Club. Xavier is in the Passport to Manhood program and all of the Summer Learning Centers. He likes playing football, basketball and horseback riding. He started riding horses at age 2 and riding alone at age 5.
His parents are Cashonda and Randy Pearce and he has 3 siblings that attend the Club.
