Cristina Hernandez, age 8, is a 3rd grader at Selma Elementary School who maintains a “B” average.
At the Club she participates in Power Hour, Project Learn, Stay Ready and Smart Girls programs. She likes reading, listening to music, and playing with her friends. Her parents are Epigmenio and Florina Hernandez and she has an older brother.

 

 

 

 

 

LaMale Williams, age 14, is a 9th grader at Johnston Community College Early College. LaMale is taking 2 Honor Courses along with his regular classes.
At the Club he is a senior member of Junior Staff and he takes his responsibility very seriously. His duties include greeting parents and guests, answering the telephone, as well as monitoring and helping younger Club Members with their homework. LaMale assists the music director with the BGCJC choir.
At church he is in the choir, an Associate Minister and member of the church performing choir.
He lives with his mother Nelliah Williams and has 3 younger sisters.
