LaMale Williams

LaDaiyjah Godwin, Age 14, is an 8th grader at Smithfield Middle School who maintains a "B" average. At the Club she participates in Power Hour, Project Learn, Triple Play, Track Team, Smart Girls, and Street SMART. She also has attended many special events including a week long residential summer camp. She likes going to the park and playing with her little brother. LaDaiyjah likes playing basketball, running track, boxing, and writing lyrics for rap and inspirational songs.
She has been a member of our Club since 2006 and hopes to represent the Club in the Youth of the Year competition in 2012.
Her mother is Anita Godwin and she has a sister that is a member of the Club.

 

 

 


LaMale Williams, who has been a Club Member since 2007, is a 9th grader at Johnston Community Early College where he maintains an "A/B" average. He hopes to be the first in his family to graduate from college. LaMale plans to pursue a degree in Child Psychology.
At the Club, he participates in Power Hour, Project Learn, Stay Ready, Triple Play, Street SMART, Start SMART and Healthy Habits.
He enjoys reading and ministering to youth at his church through music and singing.
LaMale is currently the 2011 Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne/Johnston County Local Youth of the Year which has earned him a $1000.00 scholarship.
His mother is Nelliah Williams and he has 3 sisters that attend the Club.
